Is The Ashley Madison Agency Unethical?

A while back, I did a review of the Ashley Madison Agency dating web site.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Ashley Madison Agency, it is a web site that caters to a growing dating niche…married dating". Yes, married people are dating!

"The Gill Deacon Show", a Canadian talk show, did an interview with Darren Morgenstern, the owner of AshleyMadison.com and one of his clients. Both were attempting to justify their involvement with the site.

I found the video interesting, but what I found even more interesting were the comments below the video - proof that human beings are "de-evolving"! Judging from the intelligent responses, it is obvious that humans are losing their powers of reasoning and the ability to articulate.

Watch the video and don't forget to read those comments. Perhaps you will want to add your own two cents worth to a thread that displays our unique ability to form a rational opinion and eloquently put it into words.

Wow! The power of speech is a gift bestowed upon man but sometimes I honestly believe the world would be a better place if we were all mute!

Why are we so "hot and bothered" by the Ashley Madison Agency? People are outraged that Darren Morgenstern is turning a profit by "pimping infidelity".

Is it any more opportunistic or unethical than an attorney defending a client he knows is guilty? If lawyers were not unethical, there would be no defense for criminals. Now that may be a good thing but it's never going to happen!

Finding a need and "filling it" is the "". We are a self-indulged, greedy, impatient culture.

The didn't invent cheating. The owner has followed the model for a profitable business - he has found a need and filled it.

Perhaps, this married dating site isn't such a bad thing after all. Look at it this way. People are going to cheat whether the site (and many others like it) exists or not. But, by providing cheaters with their own platform to seek out other "like minded" individuals are we not "keeping them off the streets" so-to-speak?

If cheaters are "hooking up" with other cheaters, they aren't out there tempting your faithful husband or wife who may be vulnerable if presented with the right set of circumstances! In a sense, the are only destroying their own two families instead of a possible four!

See? There are always two sides to every story don't you think?

You may say it's not THAT bad, but it IS pretty sad when a majority of us have been raised/taught that marriage should be honored. This company is promoting cheating, it's all about the $$$$$$. this world only turns for MONEY! If you want to have sex with the whole town, fine, but don't get married. Don't destroy your spouse's life and children's life because of your ignorance. Don't be sneaky…

While the Ashley Madison Agency is interesting, in time married dating networks won't exist solely in these highly expensive pay sites but instead will be free-to-use social networks, like our new free married dating site at http://ad.ultero.us
