The 2008 Ashley Madison Agency Review

With all of the chatter this past month about the Ashley Madison Agency doubling it's membership in the last year I decided to pay them another visit.

I don't recall being overly impressed with the site the last time I was there but hey…now, with over 2 million members and growing, they must be doing something right!

For those of you unfamiliar with The Ashley Madison Agency, where have you been?

I'm just teasing! It is a dating site that specifically caters to married people who are looking for a little sex on the side. You know, a midnight rendezvous, an extramarital roll in the hay, an affair…it's for cheaters!

In a press release on May 7th, Ashley Madison offered it's 2 millionth member – Hillary08, 2 million free credits in celebration of their milestone. If I'm doing my math right, that's about $596,000 worth of credits for Ms. Hillary08!

That should keep her panties warm for a while!

So, today I revisited the Ashley Madison site and I have to say that I am impressed. They have done some major updating on the site and it looks great! It's still purple (I hate purple! LOL) but you can't have everything.

The site has a much softer, more professional look to it than it did a year ago. It's easy to navigate and WOW – there are actually some pretty great looking people on there! There are far more photos available to see than there were the last time I visited. Perhaps the people using the Ashley Madison site feel more secure since the owner of the site, says that they don't even know the real names of the members.

You will find that the members who have posted photos are likely far more serious about hooking up with someone than those who don't. Their profiles are actually complete with what they are looking for, what they are open to and what really turns them on.

Profiles with no photos have little or no original content. Personally, I would not want to risk contacting one of them. It would be sort of like a and we all know how disappointing they can be! Perhaps these people are just curious rather than serious about initiating an affair. Or…perhaps they are concerned spouses who just want to see if their "other half" has joined Ashley Madison.

Hmmm…something to consider.

Unlike other married dating sites, Ashley Madison is still using it's rather unique "credit system" to allow members to communicate with each other. At $149.00 for 500 credits, it seems a little pricey to me. 60 minutes worth of instant messaging with one person costs 20 credits so, I guess 25 hours of chatting for $149.00 should get you into someones pants.

If not…what can I say?

At any rate, my overall opinion of the Ashley Madison married dating site has improved drastically since my last visit. One thing I do like about the site is that it doesn't feel like a carbon copy of every other dating site out there. Most sites are exactly the same and you will find the same people on them that you found on the last six sites you visited. That's because many of the new sites import the same profiles to create a large data base of members. Now THAT'S cheating!

Ashley Madison started from scratch and grew their own membership. They are unique and perhaps that is what makes it the largest and most popular true married dating site on the web today.

Oh…if you want to check out Ashley Madison but are a little concerned about getting caught…justlook for the little orange triangle on the right side of every page. It's a clever little PANIC button that will quickly whisk you off to a completely functional site called the "Home Renovation Guide".

You will be a hero instead of a heel because your wife wants new cupboards anyway!

This year, I give The Ashley Madison Agency

The panic buttom is awesome but not quite enough to prevent you from getting caught. Search the net for affair tips and make sure to educate yourself before even thinking about cheating.

Sorry to say, but @ least in South Florida, 99% of the profiles are FAKE, 10% are prostitutes .. so, yeah, I wasted some $$ .. I am NO UGLY and very successful .. so, do yourself a favor, give up that site …. Is sad, I had hopes!

Despite the banner article above, Ashley Madison has become aed predatory hunting ground of shills trying to lure men to other paid adult webcam sex sites.

In my first week as a member of Ashley Madison, I was contacted by over 30 women — all by 'collect' mail messages or IM chats of 30 credits a pop — who ultimately wanted me to sign up for commercial adult video cam sites. I also found out that one member of Ashley Madison is actually a private detective, whose questions directed to me were obviously pointed, though for what immediate purpose, I'm not certain. Several women whose photos appear as members are known prostitutes in San Francisco. One active member posing as a married woman is actually a transvestite.

I think that comment by d is horrible, it happens maybe someday it will happen to you and you will understand, love can come in so many ways, and if a person is feeling low and another shows them affection it can lead to other feelings, we are all human and cant help our emotions.

I was an "early adopter" of Ashley Madison in early 2002. I found the site well done and discrete. I did indeed, have "an affair to remember". Epic – I'll remember him 'til the day I die. I'm glad though, that I found Ashley Madison in it's early days. It's gotten so much more popular — I suspect the amount of trolls, wackos and fakes has vastly increased.

Ashley Madison is pretty much a pipe dream for men who are hoping they can find an alternative to the obvious rules of nature.

you will realize this truth quickly.

Most of the women's ads on AM are false profiles wich serve as bait for the man who wants to believe there are millions of married women dying to have sex with him.

False ads account for about 95+% of the ads.

Of the remaining less than 10% that are not false ads, about half are from professional escorts.

The remaining legitimate ads are from real wives who are fat, old, unsightly. no wonder they need to pay a website to find someone who would want to touch them.

the simple fact of life is that a a hot woman that you would want to do, doesn't need hlep finding a man to fuck them. an attractive woman is offered free sex everyday of her life.

the point is the website works hard to get your money. all those fake ads are constantly hitting you up for chat, try to get you engage in email exchange, and send collect emails all of which will run through your credits pretty quickly as you are charged for contact, not by the month.

a pretty good scam that preys on men's fatal weakness.

LET THE BUYER BEWARE!! if you're that horny, save your money and get a girl drunk! your chances of success are 50/50. even if you fail, at least you'll get to hang out with a real girl and you'll get a buzz.

    11. DontBelieveIt DontBelieveIt says:

This site is a waste of time more than it is a waste of money. The ratio of men to women is way too high, most of the women are unattractive and half the women are just browsing and get cold feet. The only difference with Craigslist? CL is free!

    12. B B says:

Do a search for Ashley Madison Scam

It's a complete waste of time and money. Read what others who were burned have to say before sending one sent to these people

    13. G G says:

The high percentage of fakes seems to be the case with most "casual" dating sites although many less casual dating sites are plagued with profiles created by russian scammers so what can you do.

      but how?
