SpectorPro Computer Spy Software
![]() |
Spector Pro Internet monitoring software has been around for years. It is definitely one of the most popular and highly regarded computer spy software systems available.
Does your spouse spends too much time on the computer?
Is your partner secretive about their online activities?
You have questions. You need answers.
Spector Pro is consistently rated one of the top two computer surveillance softwares, second only to WebWatcher. Why second?
WebWatcher is web based which means you can monitor your partner or spouse's activities in real time from any computer, anywhere. With Spector Pro, you must have to access the computer you are monitoring to retrieve the recorded information.
If you have unlimited access to the target computer, this shouldn't be a problem. But, if your spouse spends a majority of their free time online, gaining access to monitor their activities may be difficult.
That is the only negative to be found with Spector Pro. On the plus side, Spector Pro is the only worthwhile surveillance software available to Mac users.
So, what can Spector Pro for Windows or Macs do for you? It records and saves all online activity for later viewing.
Things like:
- Screenshots, in chronological order, of all sites visited - including MySpace.
- Chat and instant message activity.
- Keystrokes - what, where, when and who typed it.
- All searches done through major search engines - Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask, AOL, Windows Live, MySpace and many others.
- Email activity.
- Every program launched from the target computer.
Although you must retrieve all recorded information from the targeted computer, you can be alerted when suspicious activity is taking place. The software allows you to program specific keywords that will set Spector Pro into overdrive.
Say you program in the keywords "sexy," "meet tonight," "phone number," or "drinks". Whenever your spouse or partner types those words or phrases in an email or IM, Spector Pro responds immediately by sending you an email letting you know exactly what is happening so you can take action. It will even tell you if they are receiving a message with those keywords in it. Pretty cool!
Spector Pro has a stealth mode which allows it to operate invisibly so that it cannot be detected by your spouse. It is easy to use and moderately priced at about $100. So, if you are concerned about your partner's online activities, you can put your mind at ease.
You may find that you have absolutely nothing to worry about after all!

if you read the fine print with spector pro, it says in the terms of service they must own the computer to install the software. if they install it on the computer they dont own its a violation of the terms of service. if you call spector they will look up the acount and remotly disable it.
also dont trust ANY anti virus or spyware program. I talked with spector and they said nothing curently on the market will coruently detect spector pro. and they perfor regular checks, when they find a program that does, they write a work around patch for it right away so it cant be found again. Dont trust jobs and relationship on detection software, you will still get busted!

Hi, this is a very interesting article/review, and had been extremely helpful. I do have one question: can you tell me when this article was written or published? I have looked for a date on it, but cannot seem to locate it (I found the article initially via a Google search). The only reason I care is that I want to ensure that the information/opinion is based on current products and information (not outdated).
Thanks!
