A lot of people are searching for ways to stop their partners from cheating on the computer. You know it's happening, but you have to prove it first before you can stop it.

So, how do you prove that someone is having an online affair? Well, I have been doing some research on the topic. There are a slew of computer monitoring softwares available but there are two that keep coming up head and shoulders above the rest.

Both are about the same in price, $100.00, so the deciding factor will be one of two things:

• If you want to monitor your partners computer use from a different computer than they are using, you will need to purchase WebWatcher. WebWatcher is the only software that is web based allowing you to check up on your spouses activities in real time from any computer anywhere in the world you are.
• There is no version of WebWatcher for the Apple Mac. This should not affect many as most consumers use Windows XP anyway, but, if you are wishing to monitor a Mac, you will need to purchase SpectorPro. The downside to this surveillance_software tool is that it is not web based which means you must use the computer the person you are monitoring uses to review the recorded data.

If you suspect that your husband or wife is having an online affair you need to find out before you approach them about the subject. It will do you no good to approach you spouse armed only your suspicions.

Cheaters are experienced liars. They can and will treat your inquiry into their online activities as an interrogation and a invasion of their privacy. Before the conversation is done, they may actually have you feeling guilty and ashamed for having asked!
