WomanSavers.com is known as “World’s Largest (and oldest) Database Rating Good & Bad Men” specifically targeting abusive and cheating men.
The site receives over 1.5 million hits per month and is in the top 5% most popular women’s websites in the world.
That is pretty darned impressive so I had to check it out!
Who knows? Maybe someone I’ve met is on there…
WomanSavers is a platform that lets women warn other women about potentially dangerous men before it’s too late. If you have been the victim of an abusive or cheating partner, you can post your ex’s photo and your comments to serve as a warning to other women who may date him.
Due to the controversial nature of the site, it has received massive media attention since it’s inception in 2003. It’s been featured on FOX, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, Wall Street Journal, NY Times, Chicago Tribune, Esquire Magazine, Sirius Satellite and oodles of daytime talk shows and radio shows.
The fact that women can post anonymously does get men’s hackles up. There is of course concern that some women may seek revenge by posting fictitious or potentially damaging information about their ex partners. WomanSavers deletes IP addresses giving men little recourse should they find themselves in the “hall of shame”. However, men are free to post their side of the story too.
Since angry women do tend to get a little overemotional, I spent a couple of hours reading men’s profiles to see just how much damage had been done. Surprisingly, I did not find any that were really “out of line” and none of them provided any personal identifying information.

It is also interesting to note and perhaps a deterrent to posting false information, that it costs $10.00 to edit a post and $25.00 to delete it. So, girls, it is in your best interest be truthful and accurate the first time!
WomanSavers isn’t just a place to blow off steam about your ex, it is a useful resource for women attempting to “pick up the pieces”. There are tons of interesting infidelity polls, articles and advice. There is even a large support network of WomanSavers representatives in many locations around the world.
It hosts a huge forum that welcomes both men and women. They can ask questions of each other, offer advice and share their ideas and opinions. What better way to figure out what goes on in a man’s mind than to ask a man? I found the men’s responses in most cases to be open, honest and helpful.
Stephany Alexander, the CEO/Founder of WomanSavers, is considered a leading online dating and infidelity expert. She works full-time helping women who are victims of abuse and infidelity through her website. I found it surprising yet admirable that all of the proceeds from the site are donated to abused women and children’s charities.
A victim of abuse herself, Stephany is also the author of a new self-help book entitled “Sex, Lies and the Internet” which helps women spot the warnings signs and avoid abusive men in the online dating world.
All considered, I would have to say that WomanSavers.com is a useful resource for women recovering from bad relationships. While I didn’t find anyone I knew and it is probably unlikely that you will find your potential date on WomanSavers, you know the saying…
“Better safe than sorry.”

Womansavers is extremely pathetic. There’s a person on there named Alan Sides, aka Alan G. Sides, aka Alan Gregory Sides, from Houlton, ME, Caribou, ME, Trenton, MI, Willard, OH, and anywhere else anyone will let him live, who has made up 3 profiles on a MAN, mind you, a MAN. By the way, Alan Sides is also a drug-addicted felon. Alan Sides is pissed off because this man’s mother won’t date him, and he’s slandering this man, his mother and their entire family on womansavers. Womansavers has been contacted and has chosen to do nothing about all these lies. It’s really pathetic that this site is allowing such sick lies and pathetic behavior. Womansavers is indulging in and spreading hate. It’s really sad that Stephany Alexander, creator of Womansavers must be a very miserable and sick person to have sat around and thought of doing such. These men have children who are reading horrible things about their fathers that most likely, many are untrue, just that of a scorned mate. It appears to me that Stephany Alexander falls into that category of Narcissistic Personality Disorder to be thinking she’s doing this country any justice by her sick website.

This was the only website I found that seems like it is able to warn women about men who are not what they appear to be.
Two nights ago, I received a cryptic text message from my girlfriend. She has been divorced for apx. two years and is an average looking, educated, professional business woman in her 50′s. The text message was asking me to “come over now, and bring Jesse or Sandy” (my son or my husband.) I couldn’t tell what was happening, and the only person available was my 18 year old daughter. The two of us jumper in the car, and drove over to Suzanne’s house. We “dropped by, because we were in the neighborhood.” There was a man sitting at her kitchen table, using her computer. When we went inside, he did not stand up, or introduce himself. The feeling was very uncomfortable.
It was not until I got there that Suzanne was comfortable enough to ask him to leave. Her gut was telling her that this guy was capable of a violent outburst. I felt the same way about him. She asked him to leave, and he refused. He proceeded to whine, telling her they should talk about it, and it was all MY fault. told him that my friend had asked him to leave, so that would probably be the best thing for him to do.
He still didn’t get it, and his voice got louder as he refused to go. I told him it was time for him to get out, and he then asked me who the hell I thought I was, and within two minutes, he called me every name in the book. I was able to deal with all of it, as he was beginning to inch his way to the door. When he was fairly close to the door, he called me the ONE word that no woman can tolerate. The “C” word. When I heard that, I picked up a broomstick, and hit him as hard as I could on one side of his head, then the other. even got one good poke in his belly. It wasn’t until then, did he walk out the door, or actually, RUN out the door.
I didn’t care if he wanted to press charges, as there were three of us and only one of him, and we were inside of Suzanne’s house so I probably could have killed him and still had the law on my side.
The point here, is that no woman should EVER invite a man who she met the day before over to her house. It left her vulnerable to a guy who was unbalanced and very probably, dangerous. It felt good to know I was able to defend myself, as well as making sure my daughter was safe. I’m going to write his name because if any woman ever meets him, run, don’t walk in the opposite direction.
