Lost Humpbacks Beamed To The 23rd Century!

The wayward Humpback whales, believed to be mother and calf, “Delta” and “Dawn” have been making headlines since they were first spotted on May 13th in the Sacramento River.

Okay, I know I am w-a-y off topic here. This article has nothing at all to do with our cheating ways but…hey…I have other interests too! Besides, this is just too good to pass up!

Here are the facts:

These two whales, injured by boats have been “lost” in the Sacramento River for the past couple of weeks.

Their wayward journey took them 90 miles inland before scientists got them turned around at the Port of Sacramento on Sunday.

The pair were last seen Tuesday night in San Francisco Bay, where few obstacles were left on their route past Alcatraz to the ocean.

Today’s “Humpback Headlines” read:

“Wayward Humpback Whales May Have Slipped Back Into Pacific”

They may have slipped back into the ocean. No one saw them leave. These humpbacks were last seen at sunset on Tuesday night, just 10 miles from the Golden Gate Bridge.

“If they have gone out and made their way past the Golden Gate, they have done so quietly.”

So, did they really make it back to the ocean?

Let me see…sunset, San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate Bridge, a pair of Humpback’s, “whale song”…
