I don’t mean to be the angel of doom but holy shit…
The world is complete and total chaos isn’t it?

Don’t think that there aren’t words to describe the current state of world affairs. Here’s my “short list”…
Recession – An extended decline in general business activity, typically two consecutive quarters of falling real gross national product.
Litigation – The institution of a sequence of steps by which legal judgments are invoked.
Collection – The act or process of collecting a sum of money.
Rejection – The act of rejecting or the state of being rejected.
Repression – The act of repressing or the state of being repressed.
Paralyzation – To impair the progress or functioning of; make inoperative or powerless.
Inaction – The state of being inactive – immobilized.
Destruction – The condition of having been destroyed.
Reaction – A physical or emotional response to a stimulus.
Distraction – Mental turmoil.
Apprehension – Fearful or uneasy anticipation of the future; dread.
Trepidation – A state of alarm or dread.
Oppression – A feeling of being heavily weighed down in mind or body.
Obsession – Compulsive preoccupation with a fixed idea or an unwanted feeling or emotion, often accompanied by symptoms of anxiety.
Depression – A mental state in which a person has feelings of gloom and inadequacy.
Devestation – The termination of something by causing so much damage to it that it cannot be repaired or no longer exists>
Obliteration – To do away with completely so as to leave no trace.
Does that about sum it up?
Geez-us! Where is the joy? It seems that we just can’t get no…
Satisfaction – The fulfillment or gratification of a desire, need, or appetite.
Sorry Mick…just couldn’t resist injecting a little humor in an otherwise dreary subject!
I honestly believe that in this day and age, if you can find happiness on any given day grab it with both hands and hang on…enjoy the day for what it is and take nothing for granted because happiness is a very elusive thing for most.
People are social creatures by nature but these days it is hard to trust. We are hurting and need to connect with someone special who understands us. If you have made mistakes, don’t beat yourself up over what could have, should have or might have been. We are all human – we have all made huge mistakes!
Don’t second guess yourself and don’t look back…you’re not going that way. The road ahead is going to be a tough one.
Find something to do today that makes you happy with someone who makes you happy.
If that happens to be with your spouse…great.
If it happens to be your kids…super!
If it’s with your little “side-dish”…hey…who am I to judge?
