Hi,i think that my is some-thing like that to.see i have a boyfriend we been together for almost12 years.he just started getting on these single sites back in 2006.thats when he started emailing other women but at the being he was lie'ing to them to because he was talking to more then one plus also at the somtime he was talking to them he was with also with his girlfriend.he was telling them that he was that and this and that he made alot of money when he doenst for real the only thing he gets is two monthly checks which is s.s.i and also ss.and plus this pass chirtmas some woman called his house and there i was in the next room while he was talking to her.and guess what he said.he pretended that he didnt know her.he said that she had the wrong phone number.how stupid does he thinks i am.

uman, congratulations on not "throwing in the towel" and to both you and your wife for your progress. You are right, kids do pay the price for parents mistakes and bad judgment and they do learn what they see! Hopefully you will recover and become a strong family. Your children are fortunate that they have parents who are at least willing to try to correct their mistakes. They will learn that from you as well! Too often the effects of infidelity on the kids are not even considered! Here's to successful recovery and to HEROES!

I hope anyone involved with infidelity will think twice before they call it quits. If you have any courage you will find the strength to ask what went wrong and how can we work on/save our marriage. Take it from me, get professional help. My wife told me today she told her lover she could not see him anymore!! And that is after only 5 counseling sessions. Yes I have withstood a lot of injustice and hurt and I still don't know if we can recover but so far its worth it for my 3 innocent kids. Why spend $1000's on divorce when you could spend it on counseling and be the heros. In todays culture, marriage is under attack by forces that most of us don't recognize. And its only leading to more of the same because the children do learn from their parents.
