I caught my husband cheating but the bad thing is it happened AFTER we got married. Now I have to divorce his sorry butt. We met in 2005 and yes I know there were some red flags (not about cheating) but we got passed those and finally married in June 2008 and in August 2009 there were text messages on his cell phone to another women in another state he met online on a poker website telling her how much he loved her. I sent him packing. We have been separated since that time and my 2 daughters (not their father) do not want him back in our house. He kept denying it until the first week of January 2010, the woman he was cheating with got mad at him and exposed him to ME. She sent me pictures, emails and hotel receipts. They started seeing each other 5 months after he and I were married. The reason she got mad was because she was diagnosed with breast cancer in Oct. 2009 and after her first surgery lost all of her hair. So naturally he doesn't want to have anything to do with a disfigured woman with breast cancer. She gets mad at him and tells me everything by emails. Also his mother knew he was cheating on me and the woman he was cheating with even stayed with him at his mother's house way before we ever separated. He would make up excuses that he had to help his mother with her house and would stay the night there. I never had a clue he was cheating on me and never dreamed of checking on him.

Excellent article! I'm afraid I have a double standard. I've cheated in all of my marriages but I just could not or would not put up with an adulterous husband. I really identify with the attitude here!
