Governor Mark Sanford cheated on his wife?

What? He flew to Argentina to be with his mistress???

OMFG!!!

Is anybody else on the planet bored with this crap yet – besides me?

I mean holy henshit! Isn't committing adultery almost a "rite of passage"
once you become a politician here in the United States of Affairs?

North Carolina Sen. John Edwards, New York Gov. Elliot Spitzer, Detroit Mayer Kwame Kilpatrick, Louisiana Sen. David Vitter, Idaho Sen. Larry Craig…

Yawn!

I think we should have minded our own damned business and stopped prying into Governor Sanford's original airtight alibi…hiking along the Appalachian trail… alone… possibly naked…

At least it was slightly amusing.

Well Governor Sanford…you would have been far better off had you just gone for the hike.

Now, you will be force to take one!

Americans, hypocrites that we are, have zero tolerance for cheating politicians!

      Well now…Gov Sanford should not be blamed for this one at all! Look at them both….I sure as hell would choose the Prime Cut Latin Argentinean Beef over that washed out looking "low country boil".

      There is a very simple reason why disgraced politicians should immediately resign no matter what the offense, or the talent they may possess which could benefit society: in this partisan, acrimonious, political environment in which we currently live, and at this point in time in our nation’s evolution, any elected official needs as much support from his constituency which he or she can gather. After the offense, that support base will undoubtedly diminish, and render their service less effective.
